For example, the actual cost incurred in handling certain types of requests can also be calculated and tracked over time, allowing widespread root cause analysis and corrective action to be planned.

Queries and Reports

Queries can be used to find Assets, Cases, Employees, Organizations, Sites and Solutions in the database, allowing almost any aspect of your practice to be scrutinized. These queries can be saved for reuse, ensuring consistency in reporting. The Query function leverages categorization values for precise pinpointing of desired information. Any number of values and relevant operators – equals, does not equal, starts with, ends with, contains, before date, after date and others– can be used to build both simple and complex queries.

 


 

Shared Services can be totally decentralized in physical terms as long as the accountability (i.e. reporting) is centralized. A shared services organization must be clear about what it’s responsible to deliver. The scope of delivery must be expressed, or at least be able to be expressed, as delivered outcomes.
