Heating up: HRSSI’s HR Shared Services Executive Retreat in Hotlanta!

As the weather heats up going into the last month of summer, so does our conference schedule. August is jam-packed with great events and we’ve added one to our agenda this year that I’m particularly excited about attending. The Human Resources Shared Services Institute’s (HRSSI) 2nd annual HR Shared Services Executive Retreat is happening next week August 13th – 15th in Atlanta, GA. This is the premier collaboration event for HR shared services executives and an opportunity to share experiences and insights with participants who have similar challenges and goals.

This year’s agenda includes a speaker line-up from companies such as Microsoft, Merck, Coca-Cola, NCR, and Tyco, consultant-led workshops, break-out peer collaboration sessions and a SaaS vendor expo with vendors specifically invited for their relevance to shared services enablement.

Speakers will share their knowledge and experience in successfully adapting their HR service delivery model to support organizational changes and growth such as going global, outsourcing HR business processes, transitioning to a cloud-based software delivery model and much more. What many of the presenters have in common is that they will discuss implementing or leveraging technology to accomplish their objectives, which is why this year HRSSI has added a 3rd day featuring a SaaS vendor expo. At the expo, we’ll be showcasing Dovetail Support Suite for HR, our HR Case Management and Help Desk software enabling HR Shared Services Centers to improve Tier 0 (self-service) and Tier 1 (call center) service delivery and do a better job tracking and managing HR-related issues and requests.
