How HR Case Management Works

HR Case Management
June 26, 2018   The use of an HR Case Management system ensures that all HR interactions with employees are reported and tracked, that responses from HR or Management are consistent and timely, that legal and regulatory compliance are considered and adhered to, with records securely housed in a single location easily accessible by appointed administrators. What is HR Case Management? If we consider Customer Service, case management tracks interactions with customers, ensuring the purchasing and product acquisition experience is the best. If addressing case management in healthcare, this would be tracking of the life cycle of a patient and their every interaction with a healthcare provider or healthcare facility/system. HR Case Management is similar: reporting and tracking of every employee interaction with HR, which allows HR and Executive Management to understand the full employee experience with the employer. HR Data collected using Case…

Does Your Employee Experience Match Your Employer Brand?

employee experience
November 1, 2017 Is HR Broken? What do you think? I've heard and read it often that HR is, indeed, broken. Human Resources and Talent Management are supposed to assist employees (ranging from high-ranking executives to the newest and most subordinate player) in their experience at work, making it better.  HR should, most definitely, listen to and be responsive to every employee on payroll. Human Resource Professionals have fought for years to get a seat at the table. But, what exactly does that mean? We should be tired of the excuses given for why bad employment experiences exist. If employees are taken care of, basic needs met, if they are heard, if managers are doing their jobs? Perhaps lawsuits and attrition would drop and those tremendous employer branding efforts would be a little less necessary. Do Employees have a Voice? It may be…

What Is HR Case Management?

February 25, 2016 Do you know what HR Case Management is? In the customer service sense, case management speaks to tracking interactions with customers, making sure their purchasing and product acquisition experience is the best. If we were to address case management in a healthcare environment, we would see the tracking of the life cycle of a patient, through their interactions with a healthcare provider or healthcare facility/system. HR Case Management can be viewed similarly, in that reporting and tracking employee interactions with HR allows for a greater understanding of the employee experience with the employer, and vice versa. Data collected using HR Case Management creates opportunity to efficiently handle questions, requests, and problems without losing any information, or letting issues or challenges to be mishandled, mismanaged or not managed at all. Recap The use of an HR Case Management system ensures that…

Understanding Employee Engagement

September 9, 2015 In the Beginning... When I became a Certified Dental Assistant just before my 19th birthday, I never wondered what employee engagement was. I never questioned whether or not I was treated well or paid enough. My boss was a 36-year old guy, a dentist who employed two hygienists, two assistants, and one office manager. As a 19-year old who had just finished an intensive three-semester program, I thought life and work were pretty sweet. And I guess they were. Until, Until my needs were no longer met and a poor working condition appeared. I made the decision to leave after three years. I loved my job, but another employee had made my life miserable. She was fired less than a year after I left. There had been no mechanism in place for me to properly report incidents and I had no…
