Automating Mass Case Changes

October 16, 2015 Changes in Configuration We are sometimes asked about major changes in configuration, and how to adjust someone's environment to be what they are, not what they were.  It's not terribly difficult, since our system was designed for flexibility.  It's usually a matter of making changes in the List Editor, modifying some routing rules, and dropping the new system in place.  We recently were asked a much more challenging question, though, that inspired us to look outside our system for an answer. September 28, 2015 As I was pondered a topic one of my colleagues, Rayanne Thorn, wrote about, Understanding Employee Engagement, it got me thinking deeper about a vendor’s employees, and whether prospects should consider how engaged or happy employees are at a software vendor they are considering as part of their decision-making process. I think they should and let me take you through my reasoning. Evaluating Vendors When a customer is evaluating vendors, at the top of their list is usually the vendor’s ability to meet their technological needs. If they can’t meet that, all of the other considerations are mute. After that, close behind are: 1) price; 2) the vendor’s ability to deliver on what they commit to; and 3) the vendor’s customer support. September 9, 2015 In the Beginning... When I became a Certified Dental Assistant just before my 19th birthday, I never wondered what employee engagement was. I never questioned whether or not I was treated well or paid enough. My boss was a 36-year old guy, a dentist who employed two hygienists, two assistants, and one office manager. As a 19-year old who had just finished an intensive three-semester program, I thought life and work were pretty sweet. And I guess they were. Until, Until my needs were no longer met and a poor working condition appeared. I made the decision to leave after three years. I loved my job, but another employee had made my life miserable.
